OSCILLATORY HARMONICIST

external-file_edited.png

Last year I was messing around with free MIDI from Paramore’s Riot!. I flipped Zach Farro’s drums into my own chaos, layered guitars, bass, and a topline — and that’s when Oru Punk was born. I teamed up with the fierce Dr. Shibin Xavier—playwright, poet, and all-round rebel — who transformed my melody into fiery Malayalam lyrics about identity, resistance, and neurodiversity. As  someone on the spectrum, this track feels personal. It’s rebellion, therapy, and homecoming — all rolled into one loud, messy, beautiful noise.

Produced by Sonu Prasad (also on guitars & bass) with Abin’s signature drumming, Oru Punk channels early-2000s alt-punk nostalgia — reborn through a Post-Kerala lens. A regular at the HERD camp, my personal hero Rex Vijayan — Kerala’s own indie godfather — brought his sonic benediction to the mix and master.  The result?  Nothing short of scripture. To the HERD who’ve stuck around through every sonic shift — this one’s for you.

Welcome to Post-Kerala Punk — where third-culture Malayali meets neurodiverse fire!

This short documentary follows Post-Kerala NeuDiv band Doctor Lincoln during a caffeine-charged evening at Final Space Studios.

After facing a run of bad luck booking live shows, the trio decides to host a small, private listening session at their frontman’s home—turning a setback into a moment of genuine connection.

Captured through the observant lens of fellow artist Zylan Armani, the film offers a tender glimpse into Doctor Lincoln’s creative process, friendship, and the evolving sound of Post-Kerala music.

Doctor Lincoln, a former cardiothoracic surgeon, has transitioned into a musician over the past decade, two LPs and collaborating with artists globally.
